MotionCam takes a short burst of photos when it alarms. Night IR. In the app in about 9 seconds. The camera does not stream all day. It only fires on an alarm, so it is not a spy cam. That is how you ignore a cat and call it in when it is a person.
It stays up when the network does not
Hub 2 Plus talks on Ethernet, WiFi, and two cell SIMs. Four paths. You own the SIM data. Hub battery covers a power cut (about 15 hours on Plus). Sensors run years on their own batteries (up to 7).
