Motion, door, and glass

Three different jobs. Mix them on the same Ajax hub. Do not pick only one.

  • Door and window sensors tell you the opening moved. Best on doors and windows. They do not see a person who is already inside.
  • Motion. Sees a person walk through a room. Use MotionCam when you want photos of that person. Use a regular motion when you only need the trip.
  • Glass break listens for a window smash. Use it on storefront glass and big windows where a sensor on every pane is a pain.

A shop with a glass front usually wants door sensors plus glass break on the windows, and MotionCam inside after hours. A house or apartment can start with doors and a couple of MotionCams. Same hub. Add the rest later.
