AHD cameras do not take power from the network cable. They need a 12 volt power supply.
One box can feed several cameras. Run the power half of the RG59 siamese to each camera, and the video half back to the DVR.
Do not buy a PoE switch for AHD. That is for IP cameras. If a camera stays dark, check the 12 volt box and the fuse before you blame the camera.
