Outdoor stations
Single unit intercom demo
Multi unit intercom demo
See who is at the door. Talk. Unlock. Mix with access.
Akuvox video intercom is the outdoor door station. Camera, speaker, and a lock relay in one box. Someone rings. You see their face. You talk. You open the door. That same station can take a card, PIN, face, Bluetooth, or a QR, depending on the model. Door access readers live in the next aisle. They are the same system. Mix them.
Houses, apartments, shops, offices, warehouses, and commercial lobbies. One door or a whole building. The videos above show both: single unit for one place, multi unit when tenants, staff, or offices share the door. Models are interchangeable. Start small. Add indoor screens, a second door, or a reader later without ripping the first station out.
DIY Pro Security is an authorized ENS dealer. Factory-direct Akuvox. Nationwide shop. TEK installs in Cincinnati if you want a hand.

Cloud with a subscription, or local only
SmartPlus cloud puts the door on your phone. Live video. Two-way talk. Unlock from the kitchen, the back office, the plant floor, or work across town. Guest QR and virtual keys. Photo log of who used the door. Share the app with family or staff. That cloud is a subscription on top of the hardware.
Local only. No monthly. Stations talk on your network. Hang indoor screens on the wall. Anyone inside picks up without a phone. One press at the door can ring every indoor screen. If the internet dies, the door still rings inside. Night view. Wide view. A physical unlock button on the monitor. Quiet hours if you do not want it ringing all night. Watch the door camera from that screen. A regular phone call can still talk to the door on a lot of installs.
Unlock the way your people will actually use
Phone as a pass: app, Bluetooth, tap (NFC), or a QR. Face at the camera. Card or fob. PIN. A keypad or card reader on the same outdoor box. A one-time code for a guest, contractor, delivery, or vendor. Not every station has every option. The listing on each model tells you what that one does.
Apartments and buildings
Tenants book shared amenities in the app. Community notices. Managers issue virtual keys instead of chasing fobs. Same app the resident already uses to see who is at the lobby.
How to put a system together
Start with the outdoor door station. Add indoor stations if you want wall screens. Already have old doorbell or analog intercom wire? 2-wire stations ride that pair instead of new Cat 6. The rain cover and back box that fit that station show up on its page.
Need extra card readers, a gate, a 4-door controller, or an elevator box? That is still Akuvox. It lives next door in Access control. Same people list. Same locks. PoE on many stations: one cable for power and video.
