Door access lets people who belong there open the door without ringing. It is the same Akuvox family as the video intercom. Same people. Same locks. Mix a reader on one door and a camera station on another.
Three pieces:
- The reader, keypad, or face terminal at the door. Card, fob, PIN, face, QR, or a phone tap, depending on the model.
- The controller inside. This is the brain for extra doors. A 4-door cabinet runs up to four doors from one box. Some terminals can fire a lock themselves on a single door.
- The electric lock in the door or frame. The gear tells the lock to open.
You decide who gets in, which door, and when. Lose a card, turn that card off. A shop, office, or plant can give staff a fob and keep visitors on the video intercom at the front.
Cloud: manage users and logs from the app (subscription). Local: keep it on your network, no monthly. Both still unlock the door.
Readers and stations are interchangeable. Swap a keypad for a face terminal later. Add a gate or a stock-room door without replacing the lobby station.
