AHD Cameras

AHD is the coax camera line. Video runs back to a DVR on that cable, and the camera takes 12V power. Not the PoE cameras that use one Cat 6 drop. Same gear for a shop, an office, a warehouse, an apartment, or a house. If the building already has coax, you keep it.

Bullets, domes, and a recorder that fits the job

White bullet cameras for walls and lots. Dome cameras for ceilings and indoor rooms. Recorders from a small front-button box up to a wider unit with a number pad, PTZ controls, and more camera channels. The clip shows the back of the DVR: HDMI and VGA for a monitor, Ethernet, coax inputs, RS485, USB, and alarm in/out.

See it live, get a ping, play it back

The DVR can send a motion notice to your phone, named by channel. The phone app shows live cameras, a grid you pick from, and a playback timeline so you can rewind a time of day. On a computer, the live preview software lays out a grid of cameras, including large layouts when you have a lot of them.

Keep the video

Set a recording schedule. Copy clips to a USB stick. Put a surveillance hard drive in the recorder so it can run around the clock. The line in the clip is marked with a three year warranty.

A camera is not a system. Pair these with a DVR, a hard drive, 12V camera power, coax, and a monitor if you want a live screen. The junction box hides the extra wire.
