License Plate Cameras
A license plate camera is aimed at a lane, not a whole yard. It is built to read plates on cars coming in and out.
Mount it looking down the driveway or at a gate. Plug it into the recorder with one cable. Set the zoom so the plate fills the frame. Some systems can open a gate for a plate you already know.
